I wish I came up with that last part, thats from an Apple campaign: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oAB83Z1ydE As I said, Apple was 90-days from bankruptcy when they came up with this campaign. They knew that if they could somehow reach out to that 5% of crazies they may be able to save the company, and it worked. So my point was if you can reach that same 5% that Apple reached out to 11-13 years ago, it has the potential to be the catalyst to take your career to the next level. You want crazy people, goths, geeks, hipsters, emo, nerds, to listen to your music. They’re the trend setters. I use to get made fun of in high school for listening to Muse because everyone else was either listening to rap or Sublime. Muse is now one of the largest bands in the world, not that I’m personally responsible for this, but if it weren’t for kids like me sticking through being made fun of for listening to an amazing band (at least their earlier stuff), then maybe they wouldn’t have made it.
